Sauvignon Blanc. The 35-year-old, low yielding bush vines situated on the south facing slopes of the Bloemendal Estate produce this remarkable grape, cooled by the cold air of the Atlantic Ocean. This wine shows distinct fynbos, herbs and chalk characteristics and flavours of asparagus, lime and gooseberries. The 2017-barrel fermented edition will develop seamlessly and can be aged for up to 10 years.
